Begun as a small collaboration of churches in 1969, ABCCM is a corner post in the safety net system; meeting emergency assistance needs for families in crisis, coordinating visitation activities at the jail, providing transitional housing for 275 homeless persons per day, plus offering essential medical, dental and pharmaceutical care for the medically indigent. In 2011, 267 area congregations contributed financially and offered these services with the utmost respect and dignity to our neighbors in need through over 3,600 volunteers. Come for a tour or volunteer! Your talents and life experiences can be used to help those individuals and families that come to ABCCM for support.
