Aisin Electronics Illinois (AEIL) shipped its first part in September of 2005. In the over 3.5 acre facility on the north end of the Industrial Park, AEIL produces electronic units that control a wide range of state-of-the-art automotive features such as power doors, automatic transmissions, 4-wheel drives, sunroofs, smart handles, occupancy classification sensors, weight sensors, kick sensors and more.
