Al-Hayat International School

Welcome to Al-Hayat International School (HIS), where students, faculty, and staff learn and develop in a challenging and nurturing environment. Founded in 2014, HIS is an IB-PYP and IB-MYP authorized school. It is located on top of a hill facing the sea to the west; Beirut International Airport to the north; and the mountains and forests to the southeast. Surrounded by a wide variety of trees and a vivid neighborhood, it offers rich and original learning opportunities which enables students to experience and learn from life and about life. HIS Vision: Al-Hayat International School is a progressive, pre-K to Grade 12 learning community that offers a concept-based curriculum which focuses on developing the students’ understanding and knowledge through nurturing their analytical, critical and creative thinking. The school aims to serve students from various cultural and social backgrounds and embraces diversity in gender, race and national origin. Our Mission: Al-Hayat International School aims to empower a generation of youth to be believers, thinkers, intellectuals and open-minded people who are able to keep pace with contemporary challenges by developing their leadership and creative skills in a well-rounded and interactive learning environment equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
