The Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) are local and national institutions representing the general interests of the trade, industry and services sectors to the public authorities. Algerian Chambers of Commerce and Industry are public industrial and commercial establishments with legal personality and financial autonomy. They are placed under the supervision of the Minister for Trade. As such, they carry out missions: representation of companies; animation, promotion and business assistance; training, education and retraining; arbitration, mediation and conciliation. The CCI's and the CACI are composed of elected bodies and administrative structures. The elected bodies are placed under the authority of the President. The administrative structures are placed under the authority of the Director General for the CACI and the Director for the CCI. The CCI are present in all Wilayas. CACI is based in Algiers.
