Arabian Steel Industries Beginnings: In 2018, Arabian Steel Industries (ASI) was established to invest in steelmaking and steel re-bar rolling within the Egyptian industrial sector. By selecting a strategic and geographically advantageous location in Ain Sokhna city—one of the targeted projects to be built in the Chinese Special Economic Zone, TEDA, and under the supervision of the Red Sea for Copper, an industrial developer and part of the Elsewedy SEDCO group Arabian Steel Industries acquired a site of 100,020 square meters for phase one, with plans to expand to 100,080 square meters in phase two. The company has committed to operating within a framework of sustainability, focusing on green steelmaking processes and clean steel rolled products that conform to national and international standards by using the best available techniques and technologies.
