Aseem is about creating friendly, cooperative and intelligent work wear for the Indian working woman. We endeavour to create work wear pieces that accentuate the wearer’s personality, like second skin; elevate the wearer’s performance at work, like a good teammate; and also enhance the comfort-level of the wearer in the workspace, just as a best friend does. We want women to express themselves better in public spaces and clothes are a part of their self-expression. Indian working women tend to tone down their self-expression due to many limitations and barriers.We understand the difficulty women in India face while scouring the thousands of clothing outlets and hundreds of online brands for work wear outfits that meet all the points on the Indian woman’s checklist: from ease of wearing to reasonable price points, color palette to body fit, utility features to fabric quality, fashion statement to durability, occasion-specifity to personality projection, uniqueness to ease of washing/ironing.
