Started during the pandemic when chef Richie lost his job after years of working in fine dining and Michelin star restaurants, Bahay is a totally unique food business, specializing in restaurant pop ups, food festivals, curated events, unique food related experiences and an exploration of art and cultural identity through a culinary lens. After pop ups in Roe & Co Distillery, The Hen's Teeth, Mae Restaurant Ballsbridge to name a few, Bahay was awarded Best Front of House Experience at Taste of Dublin 2022 and 2023, and was named as The Ones to Watch in 2022 by The Irish Independent andf Next Trends for 2023 in Food and Wine Magazine. They received the Bord Bia Award for Foodie Favourite in 2023 and have announced the release of their very firts cookbook Masarap in October 2023.
