Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture

Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA), among other constituent organs of National Agricultural Research System (NARS), has meanwhile been able to attain a unique and distinct position for developing and releasing a number of high yielding varieties of several important crops and BNF inocula along with non- commodity technologies through peaceful use of nuclear and advanced techniques. It has thus tuned to be a seat of national pride where a band of scientists with strong commitment and dedication are engaged in developing the most appropriate and sustainable technologies which are not only productive and profitable, but also environment-friendly and accommodative with natural hazards. In this way, the institute has been making significant contributions to reduce poverty and malnutrition and thereby attain the goal of food security of Bangladesh.
