Bank Melli Iran was established in 1927 by an Act of the Parliament of Iran (“Act on Permission for Establishment of Bank Melli Iran).Today the Bank has over 3,500 branches globally and is the largest bank of Iran. Executive Board of Directors governs the global operations of the Bank and is headed by the Chairman & Managing Director. Bank Melli Iran 's U.A.E. operations comprise of 7 branches Apart from U.A.E. operations, the Regional Office (Dubai) is also responsible for the operations of Muscat , Sultanate of Oman and Baku , Azerbaijan
