At the Barkhausen Institut (BI), we focus on facilitating trustworthiness of networked electronic systems through cutting-edge research. Our interdisciplinary team works on secure and reliable hardware, software, and communications technologies, with applications ranging from critical infrastructure to healthcare and industry. We carry out projects e.g. in the area of verifiable IT systems and collaborate with academic and industry partners to turn research into real-world solutions. Together, we are shaping a digital future that serves society and industry alike. The Barkhausen Institut is co-financed with tax funds based on the budget passed by the Saxon State Parliament.
