Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital - Dallas opened in 2002 as the North Texas region's first hospital dedicated solely to heart and vascular care. Since then, we have earned national recognition as a leader in the prevention and treatment of heart and vascular disease, as well as diagnostic and research excellence. Our heart hospital in Dallas, located near downtown, is adjacent to Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health. Expansion occurred in 2014 with the addition of Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital - Fort Worth. In August of 2023, Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital - Waxahachie opened its doors. Our multidisciplinary team takes enormous pride in the care delivered to our patients. Shared with Baylor University Medical Center, High Achieving recognition received for CABG. • Recipient of 17 consecutive "Grade A" by Leapfrog Group • American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology awarded Mission: Lifeline NSTEMI Gold and Mission: Lifeline STEMI Gold Plus for the treatment of heart disease and stroke. • Magnet® recognition was received for the 4th consecutive time by The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®.
