Since its beginnings in the 1930s, when Bernardo Hernández founded BEHER to market artisanal Iberian products, the company has grown to become one of the benchmarks in the Spanish meat sector. In the 1970s, Bernardo Hernández, son of the founder, expanded the brand internationally and began raising 100% Iberian native pigs, the key to the current excellence of its products. With the arrival of the new millennium, the third generation, led by Bernardo and Jorge Hernández, consolidated BEHER as a global company, controlling the entire production process, from breeding, processing, curing and marketing. During these years, the company has been expanding its presence through delicatessen stores (Beher Stores) in Spain and Portugal. Today, with the fourth generation joining the company, BEHER remains committed to quality and authenticity, incorporating the latest technologies to its production process and facing the demands of an increasingly demanding market and consumer.
