Beloxxi Industries Limited

BELOXXI INDUSTRIES LIMITED is a biscuit manufacturing company duly registered (RC 239399) under the relevant Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, February 15, 1994. From March 1994, the Company, then known as Beloxxi& Company Limited, was the exclusive distributor of HWA TAI Cream Crackers and other types of biscuits from Malaysia. It was also the dominant importer of other popular brands of biscuits, especially DEAN’S SHORTBREAD from the United Kingdom. By 2002, the Company had become the market leader as well as the single largest importer of cream cracker biscuits into Nigeria. In that same year, the volume of cream cracker biscuits imported into Nigeria by the Company had reached such an astronomical level that it no longer made for real economies of scale for further importation. With the ban on importation of biscuits in March 3, 2003, by the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Company commenced initiatives to design and build a large and modern biscuit manufacturing plant in Nigeria.
