Bindu is a non-profit organization which aims to educate the masses about menstruation, deconstruct stigma, and create sustainable menstrual communities. We Enrich: We have created a platform for menstruators to voice their concerns about this hushed topic. At Bindu we aim to enrich all genders that menstruate. We strive to answer all the unanswered questions about menstruation and their sexual health. Through our myriad social platforms, we enrich them with information that will help them steer through the journey of menstruating. We cover everything from possible medical diseases to which product to choose. We Empower: We empower women and girls by providing them with sustainable sanitary kits. By giving them access to their most basic needs, we help these women and girls live their lives normally during menstrual cycles. Receiving these kits could change the fate of a young girl going to school. No one should have to sacrifice hopes and dreams because of menstruation, the goal is make them independent at this time and to empower them to take control of their own life! We Educate: By imparting menstrual education to both young girls and boys in schools across the country. We step in where our government and educational institutions cannot or have failed to impart this basic knowledge to young adults. We create accessible menstrual and sexual health education content to help make our future generations more aware about menstruation. Our primary areas of focus currently are menstrual education before the onset of periods for girls, and de-stigmatization amongst boys. We also run many campaigns on social media to educate and make people aware about menstruation and its related phenomenon in order to de-stigmatize them.
