Boeing Composites Malaysia (BCM), supplier of composite products and subassemblies to the global aerospace industry, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company. Established in 1996, the company is based in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah, Malaysia. The USD $32 million the plant was officially opened by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad in September 2002. BCM manufactures and is a supplier for primary and secondary structure composite bond assemblies and sub-assemblies for Boeing commercial aircraft such as aileron skins, spoilers and spars, flat panels, leading edges, trailing edges and various miscellaneous components.
