BRIC-Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) is a life science research institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The centre is equipped with world-class state-of-the-art instrumentation and computing infrastructure to facilitate research and development in frontier areas of modern biology. It is recognised by Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for a PhD programme in Life Sciences. It also hosts a business incubator (CDFD Technology Incubator) which is dedicated to nurturing, promoting, and accelerating early-stage innovations and deep-tech startups in life sciences and related disciplines.
