BUILD - Department of the Built Environment

BUILD develops research-based knowledge to improve buildings and the built environment. BUILD identifies subjects that are important for professionals and decision-makers involved with building and the built environment. And subsequently we communicate our knowledge to these groups. The institute works with the construction and the built environment in a holistic perspective, combining knowledge about users, building, cities and infrastructure in both research, education and government services. Research and other activities are done in close collaboration with the construction and civil engineering sector.
