Carclew is Australia’s largest multi-art form cultural institution dedicated to children and young people. As the home of youth arts and creativity our mission is to connect all children and young people to the world of creative possibilities as artists, learners and audiences. Our historic house located in North Adelaide was gifted by the Government to the children of South Australia in 1971 as a promise that all children and young people will have access to art, culture and creativity. As a public authority within the Department for Education, Carclew exists to deliver on that promise.
