The Centre d'Accueil et de Référence sociale et économique pour Immigrants de Saint-Laurent, CARI St-Laurent, is a non-profit, non-denominational and non-partisan organization whose mission is to welcome, help and accompany immigrants in their process of settlement, adaptation and personal, social and professional integration. Our services are adapted to the experience of immigrants and to Quebec society. CARI St-Laurent offers a complete continuum of services for immigrants, including assistance with the immigration and integration process, full-time and part-time day and evening francization courses, help in finding work through job search workshops, professional development sessions and networking meetings with employers. In addition, we offer courses adapted to the needs of newcomers, whether in communication, language or computer skills. There are opportunities for intercultural twinning, volunteer work and activities for immigrant women to enable them to network and avoid lonliness. A temporary daycare service is also available for immigrant families with young children.
