CASHPOR Micro Credit, a Not-for-Profit Company incorporated under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013) and also registered with the Reserve Bank of India as NBFC-MFI. CASHPOR has been consistently providing microfinance services along with health and education services to its rural BPL women members, helping them to reduce their poverty under its Poverty Alleviation Program in the rural areas of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh/Bundelkhand, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Bihar through its 780 branches, by forming their Joint Liability Groups (JLGs). CASHPOR provides microfinance loans not only out of its owned funds but also under its Business Correspondent (BC) arrangements with IndusInd Bank, IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and under its partnership with SIDBI as implementing partner under its PRAYAS Scheme. The number of beneficiaries has been increasing constantly over the years. Cashpor is currently serving more than 1.2 Million poor beneficiaries. Cashpor Micro Credit is headquartered at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
