Located in Southwestern New York State and bordering Pennsylvania's northwestern counties, Cattaraugus County is in a central geographic location between Rochester, Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh and is within a three-hour driving distance of each of these metro centers. Major metropolitan areas, New York City and Philadelphia are less than a seven hour trip by car, with the international metropolitan area of Ontario, Canada with Canada's largest city of Toronto less than four hours away.
