The Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) is a unit within the College of Lifetime Learning at Georgia Tech. Since 1991, CEISMC has served as the primary connection point between Georgia Tech and the pre-collegiate education communities. CEISMC provides inclusive and inspiring STEM/STEAM education experiences both in and out of the classroom. CEISMC faculty and staff develop a wide range of research and implementation programs focused on various aspects of STEM educational reform. CEISMC offers professional development for teachers, emphasizing innovative curricula and evidence-based practices in areas such as STEM with arts and music integration, computer science, robotics, invention, and entrepreneurship. These opportunities and initiatives are achieved through community engagement and sustainable partnerships that promote student success and workforce development. EXCEL, Georgia Tech's inclusive postsecondary education program housed within CEISMC, offers two-year and four-year college certificates for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
