Chaibasa Engineering College

Chaibasa Engineering College, (Estd. By Govt. of Jharkhand & Run by Techno India under PPP) is situated 12km north of Chaibasa town, District West Singbhum, State Jharkhand. The College started its academic activity since 2013, in PPP mode between Government of Jharkhand and Techno India Group. The College is located beside the well-connected NH 75 E road and spread over a small hilly terrain of 35 acres with required infrastructures. The college started with five engineering departments- Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science Engineering with the approval of AICTE and Kolhan University having intake capacity of 60 for each branch. All the programs since 2018-19 academic year are affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology. Two Departments of Chaibasa Engineering College have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). NBA accredited departments are Computer Science & engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering. We are also working very hard towards NBA accreditation for other three departments. In 2013, the college started its journey as Techno India Chaibasa. In 2014, the college was instructed by Government of Jharkhand to be renamed as Government Engineering College, Chaibasa (Run and Managed by Techno India Group). Thereafter, Institute was again renamed by GOJ in 2017 hence, the name Chaibasa Engineering College (Estd. By Govt. of Jharkhand & Run by Techno India Under PPP) came in practice. Till date four batches have graduated from the college leading to approximately 1080 well qualified Engineering Graduates. During these eight years of operation, the college has achieved several feats. Students of this college have performed exceptionally well in university, Our Institute had bagged Gold Medal from its first pass out batch
