Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Papua New Guinea

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulates civil aviation in Papua New Guinea. This includes enforcement of industry rules, monitoring of safety and security as well as adherence to aviation standards. To achieve this objective, CASA's activities range from production of safety publications through to air accident investigation. CASA's powers also include the ability to enforce rules relating to pilots, engineers, aircraft and aerodrome operators set by the Minister of Transport.
