CMCA

CMCA is a 24-year-old non-profit headquartered in Bengaluru that is a pioneer in Citizenship Education in India. Our mission is to transform the young into concerned, thinking and active citizens for an inclusive and sustainable India. We do this by engaging with young people at the grassroots in educational institutions (schools and colleges) and community spaces (libraries, skilling and learning centres), through experiential programmes that impart Citizenship Values and Life Skills. Additionally, we advocate and support government to improve existing policies and mechanisms in civic participation and education for the young. In partnership with the government and like-minded organisations, CMCA reaches 1,77,000+ young people in 15+ cities and 4,455+ villages, in over 2,406 institutions annually.
