The Community Oasi2 San Francesco is a non-profit organization of social utility (ONLUS), established in Trani, Puglia, Italy, in 1986. It is actively committed to recognizing and applying the fundamental and inviolable rights denied to the most vulnerable individuals in a context marked by progressive and severe social, economic, and cultural impoverishment. The "Care and Culture" concept succinctly captures Comunità Oasi2's commitment: to intervene in social, health, and cultural processes to promote the centrality of individuals in every context. The overarching goal of all interventions is to foster individual and collective well-being by protecting and promoting the right to health, freedom, work, participation, citizenship, and by combating all forms of discrimination and exclusion. The expertise and motivation of volunteers and professionals have enabled the development, growth, and transformation of innovative and sustainable services over the years. These services are designed in response to the real needs of the territory, moving beyond traditional welfare approaches to more effectively care practices that operate in the humanity and historicity of relationships, believing in diversity and equality as generative values.
