The college is run by the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Health,Charitable and Educational Trust which has been in the field of education for more than a decade. The college is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to the largest Technical University, Anna University, Chennai and Accreditated by NAAC with "A+" Grade. In 2001, the College began with three Undergraduate Engineering programmes with an annual intake of 150 students, and now has 12 Undergraduate and six Postgraduate programmes with an annual intake of 1032 students. The AICTE's clearance and affiliation with Anna University for such a progressive intake is a testament to the college's consistent growth over the years.
