Supporting schools, colleges, and early years settings to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence. We’re an independent charity that works to improve education outcomes for the children and young people who need it most. We do this by making sure that the education sector has trustworthy and actionable information about how to improve teaching and learning. This is why we’re evidence obsessives. We build it. We develop, evaluate, and scale-up programmes and approaches that aim to boost outcomes for disadvantaged children and young people aged from two to 19. We summarise it. We look at the whole global evidence base to find out what we already know about improving teaching and learning. We put it to use. We help the education sector to use evidence in ways that really make a difference to disadvantaged children and young people.
