For a century, El Nido Family Centers has been creating pathways to long-term success for young people and families in Los Angeles. Founded in 1925, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering children, youth, and families with the tools to break cycles of poverty and build brighter futures. In 2024 alone, we served more than 11,000 individuals through programs focused on youth development, housing support, nutrition, teen parenting, education, mental health, career readiness, and parent education. You’ll find us wherever we’re needed most. We work across Los Angeles County, with programs centered in high-need communities like South LA and the San Fernando Valley. As Los Angeles evolves, so do we—ensuring our services remain responsive to the changing needs of the communities we serve. As we celebrate our Centennial in 2025, we are building on our legacy with a bold commitment to life and workforce readiness. By equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to shape their own futures, we are paving the way for a stronger, more equitable Los Angeles for generations to come.
