The Association of Liver Patients Care in Dakahlia is a non-governmental, non-profit, organization established in 1995 and obtained the No. 817 of 1997. It is a founding member of the European Association of Liver Patients (ELPA). The association also co-founded the World Alliance of Hepatitis, which includes all similar associations in the world and has an influential global presence.
