The roots of Emanuel University were planted in 1986, when Emanuel Baptist Church of Oradea, formerly known as the Second Baptist Church of Oradea, initiated an underground Bible institute to train the upcoming pastors and missionaries of the Communist Romania. (more at www.emanuel.ro)
