Led by Ambassador Alison Milton, the team at the Embassy of Ireland represents Ireland’s values and interests in the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait. We work to ensure that the contribution of Ireland and the Irish in the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait remains strong and vibrant. The Embassy develops opportunities to enhance the political and economic relationship between Ireland and the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait that will deliver economic growth and jobs; maintain and enhance links with our Irish diaspora; and promote Ireland and the Irish Arts. The Embassy of Ireland in Abu Dhabi works closely with the Dubai-based Irish state agencies Enterprise Ireland, Tourism Ireland, Bord Bia and the IDA to promote: • Ireland's trade and investment opportunities; • Irish exports; • Irish food, culture, arts, and heritage; and • Ireland as a destination for tourism and education. Along with working to promote Irish interests in the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait, we endeavour to continue to bind the friendship between our countries and our people, and to nurture the key partnerships formed with Irish business networks in the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. We also provide a range of key consular services and assistance to Irish citizens living in and travelling around the region.
