Emergency Services Incorporated (dba ESI Ambulance) was an independently owned and operated ambulance provider that served Los Angeles County from 1996 to 2002. The company provided transportation in the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, CA Metropolitan Area and responded to IFT requests. Service levels offered by the company included ALS and BLS transportation. The company's clients included acute and sub-acute hospitals, nursing homes, home health and hospice agencies, managed care organizations, physician’s groups/IPA and numerous insurance companies throughout LA County. ESI Ambulance reorganized as Risher Ambulance around 2002 and subsequently merged to become a service of Downey Community Hospital.
