The name "Enactus" is a combination of "entrepreneurial," "action," and "us," emphasizing the organization's commitment to leveraging entrepreneurial principles to create positive social change. Enactus Maitreyi, established in 2014, stands as a beacon of social entrepreneurship and impactful initiatives within the university landscape. Enactus Maitreyi's overarching vision is to destigmatize marginalized communities and help them earn a respectable place in society. This vision is translated into action through various initiatives that focus on creating positive change and promoting sustainable development. The organization strives to empower individuals and communities, fostering a sense of dignity and self-reliance. Enactus Maitreyi boasts a vibrant and dedicated team comprising over 70 active members. These members are organized into different teams, each specializing in specific aspects of project development and execution. The teams include Content and Creatives, Outreach and Initiatives, Research and Development, Sales and Operations, and Media and Marketing. This diverse structure ensures a holistic approach to addressing societal challenges and allows for the effective implementation of innovative solutions.
