ExWell Medical

ExWell Medical, founded in 2019 by Dr Noel McCaffrey, is a rapidly growing non-profit social enterprise that offers community-based clinical exercise programmes to people with many different chronic illnesses. Access is by referral from health care professionals. The programme has medical oversight. Our mission is to transform the lives of people living with the burden of chronic illess and we have strong evidence demonstrating positive impact. Our vision is to bring the programme to every community in Ireland. ExWell has grown 15-fold since 2019, operates in 44 centres nationwide and hosts over 7000 weekly participant visits.
