Did you know that Boston is the number 1 student city of the USA? There are over 150,000 students from which 1000 come from this great school called HULT. All of these students share one common problem: They need to find a room. What they normally do is pick a neighbourhood they’ve never been to, choose a room they’ve only seen on pictures, they pay 3 months of rent (thousands of dollars) to total strangers, they decide to live with roommates they’ve never met for 1 year and they spend hours/days/ weeks of time on getting settled. What are current solutions? People would really spend weeks online, trying to find roommates and a room. In the best case, they know someone who can go check out the room for them (as these students live at the other side of the world.) And in the end, they again spend weeks on reaching out to different services. This is where EZ comes in. EZ offers the best rooms from a network of selected an certified landlords. Further, EZ offers its users a roommate finder. We developed a website where you can create an account. Communicate what type of room you want, what budget, which neighbourhood. This makes it really easy to find roommates. On top of that, we also get you settled. EZ literally picks you up at the airport, provides you with furniture, stocks your fridge, provides all utilities, internet, mobile phone plans and cleaning services. So what do you do with all the time we save you? You enjoy a free Boston duck tour. How does our revenue model look like? Students pay EZ a flat monthly rent and we pay the suppliers. The life time value of an average customer is 18,000 dollars. How do we plan to grow? We start at Hult in Boston. In phase 2, we expand to other Hult campuses worldwide. In phase 3, we partner with other universities and colleges in the Boston area and in phase 4, we expand to different cities in the US, but also in other countries. What do the numbers look like? We need a website and an investment to get our operations started. Therefore, we are looking for 210,000 dollars, with our initial scale of 50 rooms. Further, we offer our investor 30% of equity. And a nice future perspective: EZ is easy to scale.
