FAMERP is one of the most important educational institutions in medicine and nursing in Brazil. It was founded in 1968 and since 1994 is an Special Autarchy of the Govern of Sao Paulo State. The main focus of FAMERP is medical and nurse teaching, scientific research and attention to communities.
