Financial Intelligence Unit - Argentina

The Financial Information Unit (FIU) of the Argentine Republic was created by Law No. 25.246 enacted on May 5, 2000. The FIU is an autonomous and self-sufficient agency in charge of analyzing, processing and transmitting financial intelligence information for the purposes of preventing money laundering and terrorist financing.
