The purpose of the Finnish Wildlife Agency is to promote sustainable game management, support the activity of local game management associations, see to the implementation of wildlife and game policy, and manage the public administration tasks laid down for it. Suomen riistakeskus edistää kestävää riistataloutta, tukee riistanhoitoyhdistysten toimintaa ja huolehtii riistapolitiikan toimeenpanosta sekä vastaa sille säädetyistä julkisista hallintotehtävistä.
