As a world-class institution in the field of visual health, the Fondation Asile des aveugles provides medical treatment and support to visually-impaired people, from childhood to old age. Founded in 1843, it includes the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital, the Visual Science Research Center, the Clair-Soleil retirement home, the Center for Expertise for Visual Skills, and the Rehabilitation Low Vision department. Our more than 650 employees work each day to promote and advance visual health.
