Genesys Works Chicago

Genesys Works Chicago's mission is to provide pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships. We envision a future where all young adults are equipped and empowered with the knowledge and skills required to achieve career success, upward mobility, and a lifetime of economic self-sufficiency. Our program intervenes in young people’s lives at a crucial time when they are making critical decisions about their futures. The program provides rising public high school seniors with 140 hours of business technology and accounting/finance training over an eight-week paid summer training session, followed by a part-time ten-month paid internship of 1,000 hours with Chicago Corporations.
