German International School Boston is a bilingual independent school for students from preschool to grade 12. Learning at GISB is a multilingual, multicultural experience – you will hear a lot of German in the hallways, and our vibrant community also includes speakers of Spanish, French, Hebrew, Mandarin, Turkish, Russian, Akan, and more. GISB graduates gain native-level proficiency in English and German, and receive both a Massachusetts high school diploma and a German International Abitur honors diploma. In multi-grade classrooms, dedicated teachers address each learner’s unique needs as we prepare students for success in a global world.
