Since 1920, Goodwill of Western New York has been serving our community with the philosophy of "not a charity, but a chance". This philosophy remains our guiding principle 100 years later. When you make the choice to shop at Goodwill, the money you spend stays directly in our community and gives people an opportunity to make a fresh start. Fueled by generous donations from the community, the revenue generated from our retail operations funds the programs and services delivered by our Workforce Development division and makes our mission – changing lives through the power of work - a reality.
