Government House WA

208 employees

The Governor, as the representative of the Head of State, and Government House has played a central role in the ongoing development of Western Australia since 1829. The primary function of the Office is to provide personal, administrative and logistical support which enables the Governor to perform constitutional, ceremonial and community duties. We believe the primary role of Government House is to serve the community. In addition to making the House and Grounds more available for public and community use, as Governor we also have an advocacy role emphasising excellence in WA in industry, mining, culture and in relationships with our First Nations people.
