Green Building Council Indonesia (GBC Indonesia) is an independent, not-for-profit organization driving sustainability in Indonesia's building industry. Since our founding on September 9, 2009, by 50 industry experts and 21 corporate leaders, we have worked to transform the construction sector and advance green building practices nationwide. A key initiative is our GREENSHIP Certification, Indonesia’s first localized green building certification. Designed to address the unique needs of our environment and market, GREENSHIP provides a practical framework for sustainable building practices. In 2019, we became an established member of the World Green Building Council, marking another milestone in our commitment to market transformation. Our vision is clear: transform Indonesia’s building industry for a sustainable future.
