GS1 India

GS1 India is a Standards organization, set up by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry along with other apex trade bodies. It is closely working with Indian industries/sectors in India and government bodies to improve efficiency, visibility and security of supply chains, besides empowering consumers at large with access and validation of digital product information. GS1 standards are widely used in Retail, Healthcare, Agriculture sectors, and Food & FMCG sectors besides technical industries across the globe. GS1 India is an affiliate of GS1®, a global standards organization, which oversees the operations of 115 GS1 organizations across the globe.
