Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver builds and sells homes to hard-working families in need of decent and affordable housing. An affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat Denver is one branch of a global, nonprofit housing organization that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Habitat was founded on the conviction that everyone deserves a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. With the support and partnership of corporations, faith groups, sponsors, volunteers and hard-working families, Habitat for Humanity has served more than 600 families throughout our 41-year history in Denver. The Habitat Denver office and ReStore locations employ more than 100 individuals, partner with thousands of volunteers each year, and serve a vast number of families in our community and around the world through advocacy, partnerships and events.
