hedonistic (adjective) "engaged in the pursuit of pleasure; sensually self-indulgent." Is it possible to be a hedonist in sobriety? You bet your ass it is! As a matter of fact your DOC's kill your sensual self. The progressive nature of your affliction robs you of the rewards of sensual pleasure. Those of you that have spent time in the corner, huddled against the world, know what I'm talking about. I challenge that one cannot be a true hedonist if you are afflicted. You've just been chasing the dragon down a rabbit hole where all feelings, emotions and creativity are blunted. HAIR is a network of Artists in Recovery to relate and participate.
