Heron Construction is a family owned and operated marine construction company that specialises in using backhoe dredgers for marine dredging. Established in 1964, our team has been providing construction companies with a quality dredging service for over 45 years. Using backhoe and cutter suction dredgers, our team can help with the deepening of harbours, marinas, desedimentation and marine excavations. To complement dredging operations Heron Construction can provide a complete hydrographic survey service. This includes pre and post dredge surveys, interim progress surveys, LINZ clearance survey, volume calculations and supplying reports and plans in either paper or digital format.
