HIFASS (Health Initiatives for Safety and Stability in Africa) is a non-governmental organization established in 2007 to foster healthier and safer communities. Leveraging extensive military health infrastructure and a skilled team of health professionals, including retired military personnel and civilian doctors, HIFASS provides free and comprehensive HIV care and prevention services to all Nigerians. With a strong focus on prevention as a key strategy, HIFASS operates across several states, supporting vulnerable populations such as orphans, vulnerable children, caregivers, and pregnant women attending antenatal care facilities. The organization also offers HIV/AIDS counseling and testing services. HIFASS's motto, "passion & partnership," reflects its commitment to a collaborative vision. The organization is dedicated to fostering partnerships, acquiring additional skills, sharing information, and maintaining effective communication with its diverse partners.
